MapleLane Fitchburg Concrete was founded in 2022 by a crew that had spent years doing concrete work in central Massachusetts and got tired of watching homeowners get burned by contractors who treated Fitchburg like any other city. It is not. The winters here are harder, the housing stock is older, and the freeze-thaw cycles that hit this part of Worcester County every year demand a level of base preparation and material selection that generic work simply does not deliver.
Fitchburg is a city of older homes, steep hillside lots, and neighbors who talk to each other. Many of its residential properties were built before 1940, and the soil conditions, drainage challenges, and aging infrastructure that come with that history require a contractor who knows the terrain.
